Grappling X Tournament (viewed 272 times)

This past weekend, July 12th, was the Grappling X Tournament in Fresno, CA. This tournament went as smooth as I've ever seen one go and had some INCREDIBLE competition! Big ups to the guys who run that show and I can't wait to compete for them again. If anyone gets a chance I fully suggest that you enter the next tournament if it's anywhere near you. www.grapplingx.com is the website.
I made my weight cut from 225lbs down to 205lbs for the tournament and ended up finishing 5th out of 9 in my division. Not great by any means, but not bad for a kickboxer who is still very new to the submission world. haha.
Next up is the Charles Gracie Lake Tahoe Classic on August 30th. This tournament is VERY important to me since I'll be representing my gym and instructor against other Gracie schools. If anyone is in the Tahoe/Truckee area you should come out!
